Cari biker,
come ben sapete abbiamo dovuto annullare l'edizione numero 13 del Rally di Romagna.
Il primo evento alluvionale, datato 2 e 3 maggio, ha cancellato numerosi tratti collinari, coinvolgendo anche 3 delle 5 tappe. Nell'arco di pochi giorni, l'organizzazione ha disegnato 3 nuove tappe, sostituendo i percorsi e depositando presso gli organi competenti i nuovi tracciati. Di più, non potevamo e dovevamo fare.
Ma quest'ultima, violentissima alluvione ha cancellato qualsiasi possibilità di svolgere l'evento.
Molte colline su cui insiste il Rally di Romagna al momento non sono assolutamente percorribili.
Quasi tutti gli alberghi di Riolo Terme sono stati allagati, e si è dovuto procedere a numerose evacuazioni.
In tutta a Romagna sono decine di migliaia gli sfollati, e molti di più coloro che hanno perso tutto, dai mobili alle proprie autovetture. Tra questi, purtroppo, anche organizzatori e volontari, che hanno visto le proprie vite cambiare in pochissimi minuti.
Anche il magazzino del Rally di Romagna è andato completamente distrutto; decine migliaia di euro di materiale, tra cui tutti gli acquisti fatti per l'edizione 2023, persi per sempre.
Ora è il tempo di rimboccarsi le maniche, e come sempre, come siamo abituati noi in Romagna, anche di fare un passo in più.
Il regolamento della manifestazione è chiaro.
• Art.19: Annullamento manifestazione
Se a causa di forza maggiore o evento non imputabile all’organizzazione, la manifestazione non dovesse svolgersi, l’importo della partecipazione non verrà rimborsato. Comunque sarà riconosciuto all’iscritto il diritto di partecipare all’edizione successiva: tale diritto dovrà essere esercitato tramite nuova regolare iscrizione.
Inoltre, se a causa di forza maggiore o evento non imputabile all’organizzazione, la manifestazione non dovesse svolgersi nella data prefissata, ma potesse esser riprogrammata in una successiva data dell’anno in corso, l’Organizzatore si riserva la facoltà di comunicare agli iscritti la nuova data di svolgimento della manifestazione, senza termini minimi di preavviso; in tal caso, ciascun iscritto avrà la facoltà di optare per la partecipazione all’edizione nella nuova data, e quindi di mantenere il diritto di partecipare alla successiva edizione, in tal caso effettuando una nuova iscrizione.
Malgrado questo, come detto, è nostro desiderio, pur nel momento di estrema difficoltà, ringraziarvi concretamente per la fiducia che ci avevate consegnato anche in questo 2023 e che ci avete mostrato in tutti questi anni.
Abbiamo quindi deciso di restituire comunque il 40% della quota complessiva versata. Oltre il regolamento, perchè è così che siamo fatti, perchè così ci dice, anche ora, anche sommersi dall'acqua, il nostro cuore.
Le richieste per la restituzione della somma sopra indicata devono pervenirci esclusivamente via mail a contatti@rallydiromagna.com, entro e non oltre il 30 giugno 2023, indicando nome, cognome e codice Iban. Oltre la data del 30 giugno 2023 non raccoglieremo più richieste, e non sarà più possibile procedere ad alcun rimborso.
Considerando la drammaticità della situazione, a coloro i quali non faranno specifica richiesta di rimborso, non possiamo sin d'ora che esternare la nostra gratitudine per il nobile gesto nei confronti del Rally di Romagna. Qualcuno di voi, ancora prima di questa comunicazione, lo ha già fatto; colmandoci il cuore per il valore, non solo economico, del gesto.
Nel corso delle prossime settimane, sarà nostra cura, dopo le verifiche opportune, darvi nuove comunicazioni che riguardino in particolar modo il 2024.

as you well know we had to cancel the 13th edition of the Rally di Romagna.
The first flood event, dated 2 and 3 May, canceled numerous hilly sections, also involving 3 of the 5 stages. Within a few days, the organization designed 3 new stages, replacing the routes and depositing the new routes with the competent bodies. We could not and should have done more.
But the latter, very violent flood canceled any possibility of holding the event.
Many hills on which the Rally di Romagna stands are currently not passable at all.
Almost all the hotels in Riolo Terme were flooded, and numerous evacuations had to be carried out.
Throughout Romagna there are tens of thousands of displaced people, and many more who have lost everything, from furniture to their cars. Among these, unfortunately, also organizers and volunteers, who have seen their lives change in a few minutes.
The Rally di Romagna warehouse was also completely destroyed; tens of thousands of euros of material, including all purchases made for the 2023 edition, lost forever.
Now is the time to roll up your sleeves, and as always, as we are used to in Romagna, also to go one step further.
The rules of the event are clear.
• Art.19 Cancellation of the event
If due to force majeure or an event not attributable to the organization, the event does not take place, the amount of the participation will not be refunded. However, the right to participate in the next edition will be recognized to the member: this right must be exercised through a new regular registration.
Furthermore, if due to force majeure or an event not attributable to the organization, the event should not take place on the fixed date, but could be rescheduled to a later date in the current year, the Organizer reserves the right to notify the registered the new date of the event, with no minimum notice terms; in this case, each member will have the right to opt for participation in the edition on the new date, and therefore to maintain the right to participate in the next edition, in this case by registering again.
Despite this, as mentioned, it is our desire, even in the moment of extreme difficulty, to thank you concretely for the trust you have given us also in this 2023 and which you have shown us all these years.
We therefore decided to return 40% of the total amount paid in any case. Beyond the regulation, because this is how we are made, because this is what our heart tells us, even now, even submerged in water.
Requests for the return of the sum indicated above must be sent to us exclusively by e-mail to contatti@rallydiromagna.com, no later than 30 June 2023, indicating name, surname and Iban code. After 30 June 2023 we will no longer collect requests, and it will no longer be possible to proceed with any refund.
Considering the dramatic nature of the situation, we can only express our gratitude for the noble gesture towards the Rally di Romagna to those who will not make a specific request for refunds. Some of you, even before this communication, have already done this; filling our hearts for the value, not only economic, of the gesture.
Over the next few weeks, it will be our care, after the appropriate checks, to give you new communications that particularly concern 2024.
